The Perfect Halloween Movie Marathon

From witches to vampire, where could you go wrong?

One of my favorite pastimes in the month of October is rewatching Halloween movies that have influenced me since childhood. This list of movies range from mermen to witches to mummies. Sit back, relax and let me take you down memory lane. To get into the spooky mood, here is a list of movies everyone should watch during the Halloween season. To start off, the first movie on this list is my favorite Halloween movie, "The Little Vampire." Directed by Uli Edel, the story follows 9-year-old Tony who moves with his parents to Scotland. He gains an unlikely vampire friend and has to help him save vampire kind.

Second, we have “Don't Look Under the Bed." This kid-friendly horror movie follows Frances “Bacon '' McCausland, her little brother and his ex imaginary friend on a hunt for a pranking boogeyman.

Third, we have “The Thirteenth Year." In this movie we follow 13-year-old Cody as he goes through mermaid transformations and finds out his biological mother is a mermaid who he has to save from a mermaid hunter.

Coming in at number four, we have "Hocus Pocus." The witchy comedy follows Max, his sister Dani and his crush Allison as they race against time to stop the child soul sucking Sanderson Sisters from sucking the souls out of the children in town. Along the way, they make an unlikely friend with a zombie and Thackery Binx (who happens to be a human in a cat's body).

Next, we have the friendly ghost “Casper”. The story follows Nicky, her dad and Casper as they defeat evil spirits looking for Casper's father's hidden treasure. They also have to deal with Casper’s goofy uncles along the way.

In "Under Wraps," 12-year-old Amy, Marshall and Gilbert accidentally revive and befriend a 3000 year old mummy. Everything is turned upside down when they realized that they have to return him to his resting place or the mummy won't be able to be with his true love.

Another Halloween classic is “Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire." This adventure follows siblings Adam, Chelsea and Taylor as they battle against a vampire named Dimitri to save their mother.

Next, we have the entire "Halloween Town" series. These four witchy movies follow Marnie, her family and friends as they defeat dark magic forces in both Halloween Town and the human world.

Lastly, we have both of the "Twitches." The movies show the reconnection of twin sisters Alexandra and Camryn as they fight the darkness while bringing their biological father back from the dark realm.
